Well, I hope you've enjoyed the profiles of the 2011 Wisconsin Basketball Freshman so far.  Today is the 4th and final installment in this series and we'll be looking at one Jarrod Uthoff.  He's probably the most talked about of all the recruits and a great coup for the Badgers to pick up in Iowa's backyard.  I'm sure he'll receive the same "wonderful" reception that Jason Bohannon did  every time he was in Iowa City.  With that being said, let's see how his Senior year broke down and what we could be in store for over the next 4 years.

Personal Stats:

Breakdown:This is the one recruit that I have actually seen play in person and I can tell you I came away totally impressed by how complete his game is at this point.  There are a few things defensively that Jarrod must pick up, but I'm sure that will come with time spent in the weight room and under Bo Ryan's system.  Again we have another prototypical Wisconsin big man, as at 6'8" tall he can shoot with great accuracy from outside and inside.  He also posses some great footwork inside that allows him to get out of double teams and set players up for easy baskets.  With all that being said the most impressive part of his game is by far the passing and vision he has.  In fact I'd say he's more of guard trapped in a big man's body.  In the one game I was at personally there were a number of quick, precise passes that had myself and most of the crowd stunned that he was making.  In the Badgers offense that is key, just look at what Leuer's ability to pass out of the post or up top created from time to time.  He was ranked as the #14PF/ #87 overall by ESPNRise and should play a key role right away thanks to the graduation of Jon Leuer, Tim Jarmusz, and Keaton Nankivil up front.  If this class stays together all 4 years we may see a few more Big Ten Championships and hopefully some deep NCAA tournament runs.  This class definitely is the most athletically gifted one Bo Ryan has ever recruited and should make an impact from the moment they step on campus.  I know I can't wait until the 2011 season gets underway to see what these guys have for us Badger fans and as always.... ON WISCONSIN!!
